From yesterday's "Vívela," a Thursday supplement to La Tribuna, comes this humor. To give you a sense of mainstream respect for indigenous and women's rights.

It reads:

An india [offensive term for indigenous woman/girl] comes to report that a man raped her. The judge says, "certainly the rape left you bruised" [contusa means with bruising but also sounds like con tusa, which means with a corn cob]
The india responds "What do you mean with the tusa, it was with the whole mazorca [here a penile metaphor for husk and all].

The next joke, similarly unfunny:

"That's not you, it's me!" -What is it? Two Japanese people arguing over a photograph.
