Meanwhile, back in Cáceres's never-never land

Cáceres reposted an uncredited translation of a blog post by sports commentator/presidential candidate Salvador Nasralla as if the article had been written for his blog, a favorite trick of the DARPA-funded coup cheerleader. Take away messages: wearing pink emasculates the nation; people without "world experiences" (i.e., most Hondurans) cannot develop their personalities; and one of the biggest problems in Honduras is the lack of a national identity. And then, there's Cáceres's brilliant idea of an appropriate attribution: "photo courtesy Internet."

Sometimes I read things that just make me want to go back and read my book and shake my head at how little has changed. I guess I shouldn't expect it to...but dammit, I wish I could find someone to finance a translation.

It's amazing that dogs don't meow and horses bark, things are so mixed up.

Thanks for keeping us up-to-date, Adrienne.
